We appreciate that COVID-19 has caused great uncertainty in the last couple of years, and whilst this uncertainty has eased, we wish to help our customers where possible.

With this in mind, if at any time, Ribblesdale Pods is forced to close due to a national or regional lockdown, or if you, the customer, is unable to visit due to a local lockdown in your area, then we will happily move your stay with us to an alternative date, or provide a full refund if you so wish.

Check-in is from 3pm. We ask that guests don’t arrive any earlier to give us time to prepare your pod.

You’ll find your key in a key safe at your pod, which means you can arrive at any time up to 10pm. Please contact us for the key safe code before you arrive.

We ask that you depart by 10.00am, so that we have time to prepare the pods for the next arrivals.

Just pop your key back into the key safe before you leave.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to offer early check-in due to the changeover time needed for the hot tubs.

Yes, bookings need to be paid in full at the time of booking. Many extras can be added at the time of booking, whilst certain extras may be purchased on site and can be paid for via card or cash.

You can pay for your booking online, securely and quickly using your debit/credit card via the Secure Stripe payment system. We also offer PayPal as an alternative for customers with PayPal accounts.

It’s no problem to add extras after you’ve booked. Pick the extras that you’d like and email to let us know what you’d like to add.

We’ll email back to you to confirm that the extra/s are available and will add them to your booking. You will then be charged upon arrival where you can pay for these extras using cash.

We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows, and we strongly advise you to take out the appropriate travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your stay for any reason.

Yes we do! We offer group stays of either three or six pods by prior arrangement.

Exclusive site bookings are available. We do not take group bookings of four pods and ALL group bookings must be pre-arranged with Ribblesdale Pods. Any group bookings made without prior arrangement will be cancelled.

For exclusive site and group bookings we charge a security deposit of £600. The deposit will be paid by the person who books and authorised on the day of arrival. It will be refunded at the end of the stay if there are no damages, breakages or extra cleaning and maintenance required.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take stag parties or hen weekends.

We ask that guests leave their pod as they find it, which means a quick clean-up before you go. We supply everything you need to keep your pod clean during your stay.

In the kitchen you’ll find washing-up liquid, sponge, microfibre cloth, washing-up brush, all-purpose spray and a dustpan and brush.

In your bathroom cupboard you’ll find a range of products including bathroom spray, eco-friendly bleach and a cloth. We also keep a long sweeping brush and wet mop in the Drying Room for guests to use.

We ask that guests empty their rubbish into the large bins in the barn next to the Drying room, wash-up and wipe down their sinks and leave their pods in a general good condition. Guests who leave a mess are charged a £15 cleaning fee.

We ask guests to clean their pods before they leave as it is respectful and helps us to keep them in tip-top condition.

Yes we do! We love dogs and have now made all of our luxury glamping pods dog friendly, making it ideal for anyone wishing to bring their best friend along! All that we ask is that you keep them under control when out and about.

1 x well behaved dog will be charged at £10.00 per night.

All our pods have their own kitchenette with microwave, hot running water and sink, full fridge with icebox, induction hob, kettle and toaster and slow cooker. We also provide plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery, tin opener, bottle/wine opener, a frying pan, 3 saucepan with lids, spatula, carving knife, vegetable knife, chopping board, cooking spoons, cooking tongs and a whisk. The pods have curtains, underfloor heating, lighting inside and out, power and USB sockets and free WiFi.

As a mega-pod they all also come with a fully fitted bathroom (with large shower/sink/ toilet and heated towel rail) and a dining area that seats up to 2 people, including a modern corner sofa bed.

Finally, all pods at Ribblesdale Pods come with a hot tub as standard.

Yes we do! A high chair can also be offered if required. A cot can be hired at £10.00 per night and is available for customers who opt to stay in either the Ribble, Brants Ghyll or Douk Ghyll pods.

We offer a range of extras that are available when completing your booking that include – adding a dog to stay, towel packs, bedding bundles and finally, nursery cots.

Maximum number of guests per pod depends on the type of pod you are looking to book. The Ingleborough, Whernside, Pen-y-ghent, Chapel-le-Dale, Malhamdale and Kingsdale pods are designed to sleep a maximum of 2 adults (no children), whilst the Ribble, Brants Ghyll and Douk Ghyll pods are designed to sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children.

All our pods have their own private, flagged outside space to the side of the pod, an outdoor dining area, a small wooden decked area in front of the pod and a boot box storage on the deck.

All our pods have their own wall-mounted LED TV’s.

There’s free WiFi to each pod. The WiFi password is displayed in each pod.

We usually have pretty excellent mobile signal from Ribblesdale Pods, so keeping in touch wont be an issue.

Guests will find an inventory list when they arrive at their pod. Items that are missing, broken, damaged during your stay must be paid for and the inventory list gives the replacement cost of each item. Cash to replace items should be left in an envelope provided in the pod, or via Paypal to Ribblesdale Pods….. An invoice will be raised to any customers that do not cover the cost of any lost, damaged or broken items.

Please let us know if anything more serious other than inventory items are broken or damaged.

Our car park area is next to the pod site, with access to the pods just a short walk through a pedestrian gate. Each pod has its own sign-posted parking space so you know just where to leave your car.

We’re delighted to announce that all pods each have their own private hot tubs. The tubs are freshly filled for all new arrivals.

The pods have a kitchenette with a small two-ring induction hob, which may be used for preparing light bites, but is not designed for cooking big meals. Each pod also has a microwave. Next to your kitchen you’ll find a switch for an extractor fan to help you to get rid of nasty niffs. We also supply a slow cooker so you can put a casserole in before you set off walking around Pen-y-gent and come back to a hearty warming meal.

We can offer the use of a barbecue on request, which will include charcoal packs and contain a box of matches, eco-friendly firelighters, quality charcoal briquettes and metal tongs for the cost of £10 a pack.

Your own charcoal or disposable barbecues are strictly not permitted.

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside the pods and on your outside area. There is a designated smoking area. Cigarette butts must be disposed of carefully and must NOT be left on your patio area or surrounding grass or gravel. Please respect our rules on this.

Yes! We understand how wonderful it is to have a place to yourself and Ribblesdale Pods is the perfect destination for groups of families or friends. Please contact us directly before booking, either by email or phone, to discuss your group’s specific requirements. We’ll do our best to make it a perfect stay!

Please note that we don’t accept group bookings for eight pods – it’s less relaxing for the group and also for the guests in the single pod.

We don’t have an electric car charging point yet, but guests with electric cars are able to charge them from a plug at barn. There’s a £5 charge for recharging (payable on site). Just let us know and we’ll arrange it with you on arrival.
